What better way to celebrate 4/20 than by sharing some green with those you love? 4/20 is a great chance to get together with friends who appreciate the plant as much as you do or introduce someone new to the wonders of cannabis. Best of all, the start of spring provides an excellent opportunity to gather outside for a smoke sesh in the sun. New to the cannabis scene this 4/20? Keep an eye out for local 4/20 events where you can get to know the community!
Cannabis edibles (sometimes called “medibles”) are a great way to spend 4/20 because they’re so long lasting. A potent edible can last for as long as 6–8 hours, making them perfect for an afternoon-long cannabis adventure. Have friends over to bake some edibles of your own or try out one of the many great options at our Fluresh store in Grand Rapids.
If you’re going to have the munchies, you might as well eat some great food. Support a local restaurant or make sure to stock up on your favorite snacks. Grand Rapids may be known as ‘Beer City, USA’, but it also offers plenty of incredible dining options. Just do yourself a favor and pick a place before you toke.
If you love connecting with nature, getting high can really elevate your experience. Grand Rapids offers plenty of scenic hiking trails and tons of fun outdoor activities. Spend some time in one of Grand Rapid’s many parks or even stopping by the zoo!
