Sales Representative – Detroit, Michigan

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Sales Representative will call on new business-to-business prospects and cross-sell and upsell Fluresh medical and adult use products to existing accounts in the Detroit region. This sales position will be part of a dynamic team-oriented sales organization and will be instrumental in helping to reach revenue growth targets by building the Fluresh brand sales and Fluresh’s reputation. Travel is expected to be 40% or more.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth

  • Maximize sales potential at existing and new customers by constructing strong sales plans for each customer
  • Implement sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed sales objectives
  • Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available
  • Work with other sales team members on team-oriented sales goals

Relationship Building

  • Seek new business via cold calling and field networking
  • Build and promote long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs
  • Manage email, text, and phone call relationships with all provisioning centers under Representative’s book of business
  • Address customers’ needs, expectations, and concerns with professionalism
  • Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses (written, telephone, and face-to-face)
  • Call on provisioning centers and cover routes by creating an established and efficient routing pattern; conduct vendor days as needed

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competition by gathering market intelligence on pricing, products, and marketing/promotion
  • Collect and share competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends

Internal Processes

  • Understand and work with management on inventory levels by being aware of current inventory and out of stock situations and by alerting management to possible fluctuations in demand
  • Develop strong relationships with internal cross-functional partners
  • Remain informed of Fluresh activities and updates by attending and actively participating in weekly meetings


  • Continuously review and make recommendations for current processes and programs to ensure efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned

 Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in Business To Business (B2B) Sales, Outside Sales, or supporting Sales
  • 1-2 years cannabis industry experience is ideal
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the Cannabis industry
  • Understanding of Michigan compliance rules at it relates to Sales
  • Proficiency in MS office and ability to learn sales and fulfillment software
  • Proven ability to meet productivity and performance requirements
