No. Driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal and unsafe. Always wait until effects have fully worn off before operating a vehicle or machinery.

You may share cannabis with another adult aged 21 or older without payment, as long as it stays within Michigan’s possession limits. Transporting cannabis across state lines remains illegal.

Tips for New Consumers

Our cannabis advisors can guide you based on your desired effects (relaxation, creativity, pain relief, etc.), consumption method, and THC tolerance. Feel free to ask for low-dose or balanced THC-to-CBD options if you’re new to cannabis.

Start low and go slow. Effects may vary depending on product type and individual tolerance:

  • Edibles: Start with 2.5–5 mg of THC and wait at least 2 hours before taking more.
  • Inhalation products: Begin with one or two small puffs, then assess how you feel.

Always consume responsibly and avoid driving or operating machinery after use.

Yes! Fluresh Rewards members earn points with every purchase for future savings and exclusive deals. You can sign up for Fluresh Rewards online or through the app.

Cost and Taxes

Prices vary depending on product type, potency, and brand. Flower typically ranges from $10–$20 per gram, pre-rolls from $8–$18, and edibles from $15–$35, depending on dosage and ingredients. We regularly feature daily deals and member discounts, which you can browse on our menu or by signing up for Fluresh Rewards.

Yes. Michigan law requires a 10% excise tax on adult-use (recreational) cannabis purchases, plus 6% sales tax at checkout. These taxes are set by the state and apply to all retailers. You’ll see them itemized clearly on your Fluresh receipt.

Beginning in 2026, Michigan implemented a new 24% wholesale excise tax on cannabis sales between growers, processors, and retailers. This tax applies only at the wholesale level, not directly to customers.

While it may have a small indirect impact on product pricing across the industry, you will not see this tax itemized on your receipt because it’s paid by suppliers rather than consumers. Fluresh works closely with our partners to keep prices stable and competitive, ensuring our guests can still access high-quality cannabis products at fair prices.

Because cannabis is regulated separately from other goods, the state adds excise taxes that help fund community development, education, and infrastructure projects across Michigan. These contributions are part of how the legal cannabis industry supports the local economy.

About Cannabis

Every human body has a series of receptors called the endocannabinoid system. This system helps keep us balanced by regulating essential functions such as sleep, appetite, movement, and emotion. Cannabinoids, the unique chemical compounds found in cannabis, bind to these receptors and stimulate the system, creating a range of psychological and therapeutic effects:

  • THC, the most well-known cannabinoid, creates a euphoric high.
  • CBD is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid that has recently exploded in popularity.

It’s not just THC and CBD, though. Cannabis produces numerous potentially therapeutic cannabinoids that we’re getting to know more about each day. Here are a few of the most popular:

  • THCA is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid that may have anti-inflammatory properties and help with chronic pain from conditions such as Lupus and arthritis.
  • CBN, another non-intoxicating cannabinoid, has strong sedative effects and may be used to treat sleep issues.
  • CBG may relieve pain and inflammation without intoxicating effects.
  • THCP, one of the most recently discovered cannabinoids, is believed to be a more potent form of THC.

Terpenes are aromatic compounds in cannabis believed to have a variety of mental and physical benefits. Here are some of the most well-known terpenes:

  • Myrcene (Herbal) – Found in hops, mango, and lemongrass. Promotes a calming, sedative effect.
  • Pinene (Pine) – Found in pine needles, rosemary, basil, and dill. May reduce pain, inflammation, and anxiety.
  • Caryophyllene (Peppery) – Found in black pepper, cloves, and cinnamon. Believed to have anti-inflammatory benefits.
  • Limonene (Citrus) – Found in fruit rinds, rosemary, juniper, and peppermint. Potentially helpful with anxiety and stress relief.
  • Terpinolene (Fruity) – Found in nutmeg, tea, cumin, and lilacs. Can have an uplifting effect.
  • Linalool (Floral) – Found in lavender and birch bark. Creates relaxing and calming effects.
  • Humulene (Herbal) – Found in hops and wood. Potential for anti-inflammatory effects.
  • Ocimene (Sweet, Woody) – Found in mint, parsley, basil, and orchids. Potential antifungal, antiseptic, and decongestant.

There are many methods of consuming cannabis:

  • Smoking: Smoking dried flower or “bud” from the cannabis plant is the most well-known method of ingestion. It gives users the most control of the strain and can be effective within seconds of inhaling. Cannabis can be smoked in a pipe, bong, or joint (which can even be purchased pre-rolled).
  • Vaping: Vaping is a smokeless form of inhalation that uses a device to heat the plant or its oil into vapor. Vaping is a great option for people who aren’t interested in smoking or don’t like the smell of cannabis.
  • Edibles: Edibles can come in many forms, including pills, gummies, chocolates, beverages, and mints. Edibles are highly discreet, and their effect lasts longer than other forms of cannabis. However, because the cannabinoid is absorbed in the liver, edibles take longer to onset, which can make it more challenging to get the right dose.
  • Tinctures: Tinctures are placed under the tongue with a dropper and absorbed sublingually, so the cannabinoids go directly into the bloodstream. They onset faster than edibles, but not as quickly as inhalation, and are both discreet and odorless.
  • Topicals: Topicals are ideal for localized pain and inflammation because the cannabinoid is applied directly and absorbed by the skin for a more focused effect. They are not psychoactive, which makes them ideal for new users with low THC tolerance.
